Dr. Scientist wants you to make friends with his guitar effects. He wants you guys to hang out and have fun and do cool stuff and laugh and play and just live it up, you know? But you shouldn't go camping in the dark woods... way out in the middle of nowhere... at night... with a guitar pedal... unless you know it pretty well! We're pretty sure your mom would tell you you'd be asking for trouble otherwise!

Dr. Scientist effects are hand-made by a papered and pedigreed Electronics Engineer with a passion for building guitar effects. This isn't his hobby, it's not what he does in his spare time, and not something he messes around with on the weekends. He lives for this stuff. Eats it and breathes it and loves it, 78 hours a day, 200 days a week.
Dr. Scientist finishes are hand-applied by a papered and pedigreed Graphic Artist with a passion for artistic endeavours. This isn't her hobby either, she doesn't do this in her down time or just on holidays. She's a pro at this stuff and wrote the book on it. You've never seen finishes like these before!
Dr. Scientist effects are hand-finished in unique, great looking, easy cleaning, and long lasting, adhesive vinyl - using several special and secret techniques. Not only is your new Dr. Scientist pedal going to look wild the day you get it... it's going to look wild for a really, really long time!
Dr. Scientist effects are True Bypass. That means that when you turn your effect off, your guitar signal is completely removed from the effect circuitry and connected only to the output jack. Who knows what that circuitry might be doing to your tone when you're not looking!
Dr. Scientist effects can be powered by a 9 Volt battery (which we include!) or a standard BOSS style 9VDC power adapter with a 2.1mm plug that's center negative.
Dr. Scientist effects feature top-mounted Input, Output, and 9VDC jacks. We just think it's coolest this way.
Dr. Scientist effects are made with top-notch components and build practices. Only the finest brand name operational amplifiers, metal film resistors, Alpha potentiometers, Carling switches, clear LEDs in every colour with chrome bezels, Switchcraft jacks, high quality PCBs, Kemet and Panasonic capacitors, and die-cast Hammond enclosures are selected... by a team of retired NASA Astronauts.
